A vulnerability has been found in the php package "athlon1600/youtube-downloader"
and classified as high. Affected is the function stream of the file
public/stream.php and src/YouTubeStreamer.php. The manipulation of the argument
url leads to a server-side request forgery (SSRF). The endpoint is
unauthenticated. The application fetches any http:// or https:// URL supplied
via the "url" query parameter using cURL without any allow-list validation (no
restriction to the intended googlevideo.com CDN host). Loopback addresses
(127.0.0.1), RFC1918 private ranges, and cloud metadata endpoints
(x.x.x.x) can therefore be read by a remote attacker. cURL SSL
peer/host verification is disabled, and the full upstream response body
together with content-type/content-length/content-range headers is forwarded
back to the attacker, resulting in full read-back of internal services.
Exploitation was confirmed empirically in a local, isolated environment: the
unmodified library class was used to request an internal endpoint
(http://127.0.0.1:8899/internal-secret); the internal HTTP 200 response, its
Content-Type header, and the JSON body were returned verbatim to the caller.

It is recommended to restrict the accepted URL to the YouTube CDN host (e.g.
^https://[\w.-]*\.googlevideo\.com/) and/or add a loopback/private-IP
blocklist with DNS-rebinding-safe resolution before performing the cURL request.
