This disrupts the internal state machine, triggering a fatal assertion failure that forcibly terminates the AMF process. Exploiting this flaw causes persistent denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, paralyzing 5G core network services and preventing gNodeBs and UEs from establishing connections. |
