| Descrição | During a security assessment of the "Advanced Online Voting Management System", a critical insecure file upload vulnerability was identified in the /admin/voters_add.php endpoint. This vulnerability exists because the application does not perform proper validation on the uploaded file's extension or MIME type. As a result, an attacker can upload a PHP web shell (like shell.php) through the photo parameter. Once uploaded, the file can be accessed "images/" (like /images/shell.php), allowing arbitrary PHP code execution on the server. |
