| Descrição | The affected components are the root `book.php` booking handler and `cancelbookingpatient.php` cancellation handler. In `book.php`, the `Doctor` POST value is concatenated into the availability check and the INSERT:

$did=$_POST['Doctor'];
$query ="SELECT * FROM doctor_availability WHERE DID = '" .$did. "' AND CID='".$cid."'";
$sql = "INSERT INTO book (...) VALUES (...'$did'...)";
```
In `cancelbookingpatient.php`, the `appointment` POST value is concatenated into an UPDATE:

$timestamp=$_POST['appointment'];
$updatequery="update book set Status='Cancelled by Patient' where username='$username' and timestamp= '$timestamp'";
```
A logged-in patient can inject `1' AND SLEEP(2) -- -` (or `x' OR SLEEP(2) -- -`) to trigger measurable delays, confirming SQL injection in authenticated flows. |
