Description: From IoControlCode 0x804f2143, 0x804f217f, 0x804f214b, and 0x80800043, a normal user can write into arbitrary address due to the lack of validating UserBuffer.
Reproduce: In the attached file EoP.zip, there are EoP.exe, EoP.cpp, twister8_setup.exe, and filppd.sys. EoP.exe is the PoC to cause BSOD where twister8_setup.exe which contains the vulnerable driver filppd.sys is installed, and EoP.cpp is the source code of EoP.exe. To reproduce the issue, install twister8_setup.exe and execute EoP.exe. The system is expected to crash (BSOD) once EoP.exe is executed. It is just a PoC to demonstrate the vulnerability, so it just make the system crash. Password for attachment: EoP
