GPAC MP4Box at commit f1219cde contains an invalid pointer dereference in the BT/BIFS command parser. gf_bt_parse_bifs_command interprets a target field as a child-node list without first verifying that it is the children field. The invalid list pointer is passed to gf_node_list_get_child, which dereferences an address near NULL.
Reproduction command:
./bin/gcc/MP4Box -add ../pocs/poc_3802 -new /tmp/out.mp4
Expected result:
AddressSanitizer reports a SEGV caused by a READ memory access at address 0x8 in gf_node_list_get_child at scenegraph/base_scenegraph.c:1491.
Impact:
A crafted BT/BIFS scene can terminate MP4Box and cause denial of service in applications that process untrusted scene files.
