| Mô tả | MiniCode is a AI-powered coding assistant. MiniCode's MCP (Model Context Protocol) server integration allows an attacker to achieve remote code execution by placing a malicious .mcp.json configuration file in the root of a project. Once a victim clones or downloads the project and launches MiniCode inside it, the commands defined in .mcp.json are immediately spawned via child_process.spawn() with the victim's full process environment inherited, without any warning, permission prompt, or user confirmation. Additionally, remote MCP configurations support ${VAR} environment variable interpolation in HTTP headers, enabling exfiltration of sensitive credentials to attacker-controlled servers, and stored MCP bearer tokens are matched by server name alone, allowing token reuse across unrelated endpoints |
