No per-user salt, pepper, or adaptive KDF (bcrypt/scrypt/Argon2) is applied. Password hashes are compared directly to `md5(input)`. Offline cracking of a leaked `admin`/`user`/`seller` table is trivial with GPU wordlists and rainbow tables, especially combined with the weak recovery codes and cookie-carried password hashes. |
