| Mô tả | During an authorized local security review of the supplied Student Information System source, an unauthenticated SQL injection was confirmed in the s parameter of /searchquery.php. A UNION-based request returned every username and plaintext password without a session cookie. A separate time-based request delayed the response for approximately three seconds.
The issue also enables unauthenticated account takeover through /changepassword.php. The password-update branch runs before authorization and concatenates the attacker-controlled oldpass and newpass parameters into SQL. By injecting a valid Boolean condition into oldpass and a target user ID into newpass, the attacker can change a selected user's password and then authenticate as that user. The test changed the local testuser password from testuser to Pwned123!, logged in successfully, and then restored the original password. |
