Linux 内核中，版本在 2.4.26 之前的 Linux 2.4.x 系列里 Sound Blaster (sb16) 驱动的开源代码（OSS code）在处理某些采样大小时存在缺陷。当该驱动运行于 16 bit 模式时，若接收到字节数为奇数的样本数据，本地用户可利用此漏洞导致拒绝服务（DoS），具体表现为系统崩溃。
