Ruby-GNOME 2（又名 Ruby/Gnome2）0.16.0 版本以及 20071127 之前的 SVN 版本中，gtk/src/rbgtkmessagedialog.c 文件的 mdiag_initialize 函数存在格式字符串漏洞（Format string vulnerability），攻击者可通过 message 参数中的格式字符串说明符（format string specifiers）以依赖上下文的方式执行任意代码。
