Description: From IoControlCode 0x804f2158, 0x804f2154, 0x804f2150, 0x804f215c, 0x804f2160, 0x80800040, 0x804f214c, 0x804f2148, 0x804f2144, 0x801120e4, 0x804f213c, and 0x804f2140, a normal user can cause DoS due to the lack of validating SystemBuffer.
Reproduce: In the attached file DoS.zip, there are DoS.exe, DoS.cpp, twister8_setup.exe, and filppd.sys. DoS.exe is the PoC to cause BSOD where twister8_setup.exe which contains the vulnerable driver filppd.sys is installed, and DoS.cpp is the source code of DoS.exe. To reproduce the issue, install twister8_setup.exe and execute DoS.exe. The system is expected to crash (BSOD) once DoS.exe is executed. Password for attachment: DoS
