GPAC MP4Box at commit f1219cde contains a heap-use-after-free vulnerability during malformed scene-graph teardown. gf_node_replace unregisters and potentially frees the old node before notifying its parent through gf_node_changed. The subsequent notification accesses scene-graph state containing freed memory, resulting in a read in gf_node_changed_internal.
Reproduction command:
./bin/gcc/MP4Box -add ../pocs/poc_3800 -new /tmp/out.mp4
Expected result:
AddressSanitizer reports a heap-use-after-free READ of size 8 in gf_node_changed_internal at scenegraph/base_scenegraph.c:1892.
Impact:
A crafted scene file can crash MP4Box during cleanup and cause denial of service in media-processing applications handling untrusted input.
