Bugzilla prima della versione 3.2.10, 3.4.x prima della 3.4.10, 3.6.x prima della 3.6.4 e 4.0.x prima della 4.0rc2 non gestisce correttamente gli spazi bianchi che precedono un URI (1) javascript: o (2) data:, consentendo agli attaccanti remoti di eseguire attacchi cross-site scripting (XSS) tramite il campo URL (noto anche come bug_file_loc).
