In mongod di MongoDB 2.6, quando si utilizzano utenti in stile 2.4, e in versione 2.4, gli attaccanti remoti possono causare un denial of service (consumo di memoria e terminazione del processo) sfruttando la rappresentazione dei dati nel database durante l'autenticazione contro un database inesistente.
