Zimbra Collaboration Open Source 8.8.15 verschlüsselt das bei der ersten Anmeldung zufällig generierte Passwort (aus dem Befehl „zmprove ca“) nicht. Es ist im Klartext auf Port UDP 514 (auch bekannt als Syslog-Port) sichtbar. HINWEIS: Ein Dritter berichtet, dass dies nicht reproduzierbar ist.
