| Beschreibung | A heap-based out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the LibreDWG library, affecting versions up to and including 0.14, and the main branch up to commit 6d6a339 released on 2026-04-10. The vulnerability occurs in the bit_convert_TU function when processing malformed LTYPE object data from crafted DWG files. Due to insufficient boundary validation during bit conversion processing, the code performs an invalid out-of-bounds heap read access. An attacker can exploit this issue by supplying a specially crafted DWG file to applications linked against the library, such as the dwggrep utility, resulting in a program crash and denial of service. |
