| Beschreibung | Coppermine Photo Gallery cpg1.6.x v1.6.28 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in public user profile biographies. A normal registered user can store attacker-controlled BBCode content in the biography field, and the public profile page later renders it through unsafe BBCode URL handling without restricting dangerous URI schemes such as javascript:. As a result, a malicious javascript: link can be stored and executed when another user clicks the rendered biography content. The issue affects the GitHub repository https://github.com/coppermine-gallery/cpg1.6.x and has already been fixed by the vendor in v1.6.29. |
