| Beschreibung | vgmstream contains a CWE-369 vulnerability in init_vgmstream_awb_memory() in src/meta/awb.c. The AWB parser reads the attacker-controlled 16-bit offset_alignment field and uses it directly as the divisor of modulo expressions when normalizing subfile offsets, without rejecting a zero value first. A crafted AWB file can therefore trigger a deterministic divide-by-zero exception during offset-table parsing, terminating the host process before audio decoding begins.
I re-verified this issue against the latest upstream HEAD commit 79bc65b52cddc61b859679c1c47dc57092872ae1 on 2026-08-21 and confirmed that the vulnerable logic is still present there.
