| Beschreibung | A vulnerability has been found in TaxHacker, an open-source personal AI accounting and tax assistant, up to version 0.8.5. The generateInvoicePDF Server Action (app/(app)/apps/invoices/actions.ts) lacks any authentication or session validation, allowing unauthenticated attackers to invoke it via the Next-Action header. The businessLogo parameter is passed unsanitised to the @react-pdf/renderer image resolver, which resolves absolute filesystem paths via fs.readFile() and http(s) URLs via server-side fetch(). This leads to arbitrary local file read (with root privileges in the official Docker image) and Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF). When the target is a PNG/JPEG image or an SVG/XML document with drawing tags, the content is rendered into the returned PDF, enabling data exfiltration. |
