bfd_get_debug_link_info_1 in opncls.c nella libreria Binary File Descriptor (BFD) (nota anche come libbfd), distribuita con GNU Binutils 2.29, consente agli attaccanti remoti di causare un denial of service (heap-based buffer over-read e crash dell'applicazione) tramite un file ELF manipolato ad hoc, correlato a bfd_getl32.
