| Título | github.com/elizaOS eliza 2.0.3-beta.7 Local Sensitive Logic exposure lead to token leak |
|---|
| Descripción | The ElizaOS desktop app starts a local renderer HTTP server (Electrobun main process, Bun.serve, default 127.0.0.1:5174, incrementing if taken). Two flaws on this server combine:
Every static response is served with Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * — JavaScript on any website can read the response bodies cross-origin.
The built-in index page embeds the app's boot config in plaintext, including the agent API's OWNER-level Bearer token (apiToken) and its base URL (apiBase).
So if the victim simply opens any attacker-controlled web page while the desktop app is running, that page performs one plain cross-origin GET (a simple request, no preflight) to http://127.0.0.1:5174/, reads the full HTML, and extracts the OWNER token with a regex. Zero interaction, no dialogs, completely silent — the app's highest-privilege credential is handed to an arbitrary website. |
