| Título | iptime c200 1.092 Command Injection |
|---|
| Descripción | The sub_409054 function is triggered via the ApplyRestore endpoint when the device processes a backup configuration file (.tar). This function reads configuration values from /etc/iconfig.cfg through sub_408F90, which performs no sanitization or escaping of special shell characters. The values are then directly interpolated into a snprintf-built command string and executed via popen().An attacker with a valid session can craft a malicious configuration archive containing backtick-injected shell commands in the sysset_userid or sysset_userpw fields. These commands are executed with root privileges when the router processes the restore operation. |
