| Título | Piwigo 16.3.0 Path Traversal |
|---|
| Descripción | Piwigo 16.3.0 (https://github.com/Piwigo/Piwigo) contains an unauthenticated path traversal vulnerability in i.php. The endpoint accepts a user-controlled derivative request path from the URL and validates path tokens with a regex that still allows dot characters. As a result, traversal segments such as .. are accepted and concatenated into the derivative output path without proper normalization and confinement to the intended _data/i cache directory. An unauthenticated attacker can use this to make Piwigo generate and write derivative image files outside the intended _data/i subtree. The primitive is constrained to image output rather than arbitrary bytes, but it still allows attacker-controlled path traversal affecting derivative file writes. |
