GPAC MP4Box at commit f1219cde contains a heap-use-after-free vulnerability during BT DEF/USE resolution. When gf_bt_sf_node fails to parse a malformed node, the error path unregisters and frees the partially constructed node but leaves its pointer in parser->def_nodes. A later DEF lookup calls gf_node_get_name with the dangling pointer.
Reproduction command:
./bin/gcc/MP4Box -add ../pocs/poc_3803 -new /tmp/out.mp4
Expected result:
AddressSanitizer reports a heap-use-after-free READ of size 8 in gf_node_get_name at scenegraph/base_scenegraph.c:1340.
Impact:
A crafted BT scene can crash MP4Box during DEF/USE name resolution and cause denial of service. Reuse of the freed heap region may create additional memory-corruption risk.
