Wireshark versions 1.2.0 à 1.2.14, 1.4.0 à 1.4.3 et 1.5.0 libèrent un pointeur non initialisé lors du traitement d'un fichier .pcap au format pcap-ng, ce qui permet aux attaquants distants de provoquer une déni de service (corruption mémoire) ou potentiellement d'autres impacts non spécifiés via un fichier malformé.
