Une vulnérabilité de type cross-site scripting (XSS) dans la fonction httpd_HtmlError située dans network/httpd.c, au sein de l'interface web de VideoLAN VLC Media Player avant la version 2.2.0, permet aux attaquants distants d'injecter du code script ou HTML arbitraire via les informations de chemin (path info).
