| Description | User accounts in `dmCorePlugin/plugins/dmUserPlugin` default to the `sha1` algorithm in `config/doctrine/schema.yml`. `lib/model/doctrine/PluginDmUser.class.php` generates a salt and stores `sha1($salt . $password)` through one direct algorithm call, with no adaptive work factor, memory cost, or iteration count. An attacker who obtains the `DmUser` password and salt columns can perform high-speed offline password guessing, recover weak or reused credentials, and authenticate as affected users, including administrators.
