| Description | A SQL injection vulnerability was found in the 'get_barcode_data.php' file of the 'Pet grooming management' project. The reason for this issue is that attackers inject malicious code from the parameter "barcode" and use it directly in SQL queries without the need for appropriate cleaning or validation. The user-supplied value is embedded in the statement `SELECT product_id FROM tbl_barcode WHERE barcode = '$barcode'` and in a follow-up query using `$product_id` from the first result, allowing attackers to forge input values, thereby manipulating SQL queries and performing unauthorized operations. |
