| Titre | D-Link Router DWR-M920 B2 V1.1.70 Command Injection |
|---|
| Description | A vulnerability was found in D-Link DWR-M920 V1.1.7. This vulnerability can be triggered through the route /boafrm/formPinManageSetup. The manipulation of the argument newPin leads to OS command injection. The sub_41E60C function retrieves the newPin parameter from the user request and passes it to sprintf without sanitization; the resulting string is passed to system(), allowing an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands as root by closing the enclosing single quote (e.g. newPin=1';echo PWNED>/web/pwn.txt;'). Exploitation requires an authenticated session (webuicookie) and the operationName parameter set to setPin; newPin is limited to 33 bytes. The attack is possible remotely and may lead to full device compromise. |
