Soumettre #962738: Tenda RouterOS AC9V1.0BR_V15.03.2.13 Stack-based Buffer Overflowinformation

TitreTenda RouterOS AC9V1.0BR_V15.03.2.13 Stack-based Buffer Overflow
DescriptionA vulnerability was found in Tenda AC9 15.03.02.13. The affected element is the function fromAddressNat of the file /goform/addressNat of the component POST Request Handler. Performing a manipulation of the argument mac results in stack-based buffer overflow. The attack can be initiated remotely. In the fromAddressNat function of /bin/httpd, the user-controlled entrys and mitInterface parameters are not properly validated before being passed to sprintf and written into the fixed-size stack buffer s, which is declared as char s[512]. If an attacker supplies an excessively long value for either entrys or mitInterface, the resulting formatted string may exceed the capacity of s, leading to a stack-based buffer overflow.
