Armatura One stores database और message-broker के क्रेडेंशियल एक install configuration फ़ाइल में, जब यह सुरक्षा सक्षम होती है तो उन्हें AES-128-CBC का उपयोग करके एन्क्रिप्ट करता है। encryption key और initialization vector fixed values हैं जो software में ही embedded हैं और हर installation में identical होते हैं। installer package की एक copy प्राप्त करने वाला attacker इस key और initialization vector को recover कर सकता है, और फिर encrypted configuration file अलग से प्राप्त किए गए किसी भी specific installation के stored credentials को decrypt कर सकता है।
