Il Client Service for NetWare (CSNW) su Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP1 e SP2, e Server 2003 SP1 e versioni precedenti, consente agli attaccanti remoti di eseguire codice arbitrario a causa della mancanza di controlli sul buffer ("unchecked buffer") durante l'elaborazione di determinati messaggi di rete manipolati ad hoc.
