Un buffer overflow nella funzione RTSPProtocol::HandleSetParameterRequest in client/core/rtspprotocol.cpp di RealNetworks RealPlayer 10, RealPlayer 10.5 (versioni da 6.0.12.1040 a 6.0.12.1741), RealPlayer 11 (da 11.0.0 a 11.0.4), RealPlayer Enterprise, Mac RealPlayer 10 e 10.1, Linux RealPlayer 10 e Helix Player 10.x consente agli attaccanti remoti di causare un denial of service (crash dell'applicazione) o potenzialmente eseguire codice arbitrario tramite una richiesta RTSP SET_PARAMETER manipolata ad hoc.
