Il driver ene.sys in G.SKILL Trident Z Lighting Control fino alla versione 1.00.08 espone a utenti locali non privilegiati la mappatura e lo smapping della memoria fisica, la lettura e scrittura nei registri Model Specific Register (MSR) e l'input/output dalle porte I/O. Ciò porta ad un escalation dei privilegi verso NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM.
