Le versioni di actix-http precedenti alla 3.12.1 presentano una vulnerabilità di HTTP request smuggling nel parser HTTP/1.1 che accetta richieste con intestazioni Content-Length e Transfer-Encoding: chunked entrambe presenti. Gli attaccanti remoti non autenticati possono sfruttare questa falla tramite un intermediario front-end per desincronizzare le richieste al backend e insinuare (smuggle) richieste HTTP malevole verso il servizio Actix.
