È stata identificata una vulnerabilità in Parasolid V33.1 (tutte le versioni < V33.1.262), Parasolid V34.0 (tutte le versioni < V34.0.252), Parasolid V34.1 (tutte le versioni < V34.1.242), Parasolid V35.0 (tutte le versioni < V35.0.161), Simcenter Femap V2022.1 (tutte le versioni < V2022.1.3) e Simcenter Femap V2022.2 (tutte le versioni < V2022.2.2). L'applicazione interessata presenta un out of bounds write oltre la fine di un buffer allocato durante l'elaborazione di file X_T appositamente creati per sfruttare la vulnerabilità. Ciò potrebbe consentire a un attaccante di eseguire codice nel contesto del processo corrente. (ZDI-CAN-17292)
