Nel kernel Linux, è stata risolta la seguente vulnerabilità:

wifi: ath11k: pulizia di arsta in ath11k_mac_peer_cleanup_all()

Quando mac80211 rimuove uno sta (station), chiama .sta_state(), che a sua volta invoca ath11k_mac_station_remove(). In tale funzione vengono pulite le risorse relative sia ai peer che ad arsta.

Tuttavia, quando il firmware va in crash, ath11k richiama ieee80211_restart_hw(), la quale presuppone che tutte le risorse legate al driver siano state precedentemente ripulite. Tale pulizia dovrebbe essere eseguita da ath11k_mac_peer_cleanup_all(), ma di fatto non libera arsta->rx_stats / tx_stats.

Estrarre la pulizia di arsta da ath11k_mac_station_remove() in una nuova funzione ath11k_mac_station_cleanup() e chiamarla sia da lì che da ath11k_mac_peer_cleanup_all().
