En el kernel de Linux, se ha resuelto la siguiente vulnerabilidad:

wifi: ath11k: limpieza de arsta en ath11k_mac_peer_cleanup_all()

Cuando mac80211 elimina un sta (station), llama a .sta_state(), que a su vez invoca ath11k_mac_station_remove(). En esa función, se limpian los recursos relacionados tanto con peers como con arsta.

Sin embargo, cuando el firmware falla, ath11k llama a ieee80211_restart_hw(), lo cual asume que todos los recursos relacionados con el controlador ya han sido limpiados previamente. Esta limpieza supuestamente la realiza ath11k_mac_peer_cleanup_all(), pero en realidad no libera arsta->rx_stats / tx_stats.

Se extrae la limpieza de arsta desde ath11k_mac_station_remove() hacia una nueva función ath11k_mac_station_cleanup() y se llama a esta tanto desde allí como desde ath11k_mac_peer_cleanup_all().
