| Descrizione | A vulnerability was found in GNU Binutils 2.47. The ld linker has a NULL pointer dereference in elf_orphan_compatible (ld/ldelf.c:2092) when processing malformed ELF object files during relocatable linking (-r option). When an orphan section has no compatible output section, the function dereferences a NULL pointer causing a SEGV crash. Reproducer: ld -r -o /dev/null bug_2.o (with PoC file).
