| Descrizione | A vulnerability was found in GNU Binutils 2.47. The ld linker has a NULL pointer dereference in bfd_elf_set_group_contents (bfd/elf.c:3952) when processing malformed SHT_GROUP sections in ELF object files during relocatable linking (-r option). When a corrupted group section has invalid section/element links, the function dereferences a NULL pointer causing a SEGV crash. Reproducer: ld -r -o /dev/null bug_7.o (with PoC file).
