|---|
| Description | The affected component is `exammanger.php`, a small AJAX endpoint that loads the topic list for the exam settings form. It includes only `include/database.php` (no session or login check) and passes the POST parameter `subject` straight into `MySQLDB::topicslist()`:
```php
$database->topicslist($_POST['subject']);
...
$where="where sub_id=".$subid;
$res=$this->query("select top_id,top_title from ".TBL_TOPICS." ".$where);
```
The `subject` value is a numeric string concatenated into the query without quotes, escaping or validation, and the endpoint requires no authentication. A UNION-based payload such as `subject=0 UNION SELECT 1,concat(username,0x3a,password,0x3a,userlevel) FROM users` makes the application print the `users` table (username, MD5 password hash, user level) into the returned `<option>` elements, i.e. unauthenticated in-band extraction of arbitrary database content.
