| Description | A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the password reset workflow of the itsourcecode Leave Management System. When a password reset attempt fails, the application constructs a JavaScript-based redirect using unsanitized user-controlled data from the id query parameter. An attacker can exploit this behavior to inject arbitrary JavaScript into the victim’s browser. This issue was verified on a local deployment at http://localhost/leavesys with an authenticated session. |
