Submit #737006: Dlink DIR615 Firmware v4.10 and earlier (DIR-615 Rev D) OS Command Injectioninfo

TitleDlink DIR615 Firmware v4.10 and earlier (DIR-615 Rev D) OS Command Injection
DescriptionA command injection vulnerability exists in D-Link DIR-615 (Rev D) firmware v4.10 and potentially earlier versions. The web management interface fails to properly validate the ipaddr parameter submitted to the policy wizard endpoint (e.g., wiz_policy_3_machine.php). The value is stored in the configuration database and later used to construct system-level commands during policy apply/commit, which allows an authenticated attacker to inject shell metacharacters and execute arbitrary commands with root privileges.
