| Title | D-Link DIR-823X 250416 OS Command Injection |
|---|
| Description | D-Link DIR-823X routers are vulnerable to a remote command injection vulnerability in the /goform/set_ipv6 interface. This interface is responsible for handling IPv6 configurations and is processed by the backend function sub_424D20. The vulnerability arises because the system fails to adequately filter the newline character (\n) from user-supplied input before passing it to system commands. An authenticated attacker can inject arbitrary shell commands into configuration parameters, leading to Remote Code Execution (RCE) with root privileges. |
