| Title | dh1011 auto-favicon 1.0.1 Server-Side Request Forgery |
|---|
| Description | The generate_favicon_from_url MCP tool accepts an arbitrary image_url, opens a new aiohttp.ClientSession(), and performs session.get(image_url) without any destination validation. The server does not restrict scheme, host, port, redirect target, or resolved IP address. As a result, an untrusted MCP caller can direct the service to fetch loopback, RFC1918, link-local, or cloud-metadata endpoints and then process the returned bytes as if they were a favicon source image. |
