| Title | ef10007 MLOps_MCP 1.0.0 Path Traversal |
|---|
| Description | The save_file MCP tool is meant to save uploaded content into a destination folder under the server's current working directory. Instead, it computes dest_path = os.path.join(os.getcwd(), destination) and trusts the result directly. Absolute destinations override os.getcwd() entirely, and relative traversal sequences escape it. The subsequent open(file_path, ...) call therefore writes arbitrary files outside the intended project workspace. |
