| Description | A critical deserialization vulnerability exists in the database connection testing functionality of the ADP Application Developer Platform. The testConnection endpoint fails to properly validate or sanitize user-controlled JDBC connection parameters. An authenticated attacker can manipulate the jdbcUrl parameter to include malicious deserialization triggers (e.g., autoDeserialize=true combined with statementInterceptors). When the application attempts to establish a database connection, it deserializes untrusted data from a rogue MySQL server, leading to remote code execution. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to achieve full server compromise, including arbitrary command execution and in-memory webshell injection. |
