| Title | COMFAST CF-WR631AX V3-V2.7.0.8 OS Command Injection |
|---|
| Description | A critical OS command injection vulnerability discovered in COMFAST CF-WR631AX V3 router firmware (V2.7.0.8). The `/cgi-bin/mbox-config?section=ping_config` API endpoint in the `webmgnt` FastCGI daemon passes the user-supplied `destination` parameter directly into a `system()` call via unsanitized `sprintf`, allowing attackers to inject arbitrary shell commands and achieve remote code execution with root privileges. The vulnerability was verified through full-stack reverse engineering (ARM aarch64) and firmware emulation using EMUX. |
