The vulnerability stems from the fromSafeMacFilter() function, where the user-controlled page parameter is processed using sprintf and stored in the fixed-size buffer s without enforcing proper length checks. Since s is limited to 256 bytes, providing input larger than this size can overwrite adjacent memory. This flaw can lead to application crashes, memory corruption, or arbitrary code execution.
